Holden Fockler is the analyst behind HD Research, where he conducts fundamental equity research with a focus on business quality, unit economics, competitive positioning, and long-term value creation. His work emphasizes rigorous financial modeling alongside qualitative assessment to evaluate intrinsic value, downside risk, and key company-specific drivers.
His research process centers on fully integrated three-statement modeling and valuation work, including discounted cash flow analysis, public comparables, and scenario analysis. Coverage is informed by industry structure, consumer behavior, management decision-making, and identifiable operating and financial catalysts.
Prior to HD Research, Holden spent five years in strategy consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies and private equity sponsors on market analysis, operational performance, and value-creation initiatives. His experience included primary research, channel checks, pricing and mix analysis, and direct engagement with operators and management teams. This background informs a practical, bottom-up approach to evaluating businesses and translating operating realities into actionable investment insights.
Holden is completing a Master of Science in Finance at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and is a CFA Level II candidate.
